Canadian Peacetime Sailors Memorial along the Sailors Memorial Way in Point Pleasant Park, Halifax, NS. The names of our nine Kootenays who died in 1969 are engraved on plaques. The Kootenay survivors, together with family members, have held many commemorative ceremonies at this monument.
